After MULTIPLE attempts, Kenso finally got over the hump last night at P.J. Whelihan’s in Cherry Hill and qualified for Wing Bowl in 2011

  • Date: 1/20/11
  • Location: P.J. Whelihan’s in Cherry Hill, NJ
  • Contestant: “Kenso Kevin” Richmond
  • Stunt: Wing – Off (Most wings eaten in 10 minutes)
  • Outcome: We’ve had many hopeful contestants try to qualify for Wing Bowl 19 multiple times. Some eventually give up and a few are lucky enough to qualify on their second or third time, but NO ONE has had more let downs in terms of failed attempts than former Wing Bowl competitor “Kenso Kevin” Richmond. Kenso first tried to qualify in Tastykake studios at 610 by competing in our sausage challenge but could not complete the task. He then came to each and every one of our Wing – Off’s only to come close to winning a number of times but again, came up short. Then, last night at our very last Wing – Off, Richmond came up big by polishing off 45 wings. He beat other Wing – Bowl veteran “Oink Oink” by one wing and provided a great climactic  finish to our most successful Wing – Off season yet.
