FAILED: Erich “The All-American” Maerz

all american bio FAILED: Erich The All American Maerz

It’s a raw deal, and The All – American couldn’t stuff in enough sushi to qualify for Wing Bowl 19

  • Date: 12/14/10
  • Location: Tastykake Studios at 610 WIP
  • Contestant: Erich “The All – American” Maerz
  • Stunt: 60 pieces of sushi in 7 minutes
  • Outcome: When the stunt began, it became immediately clear that no one, including Erich Maerz had any idea that this stunt would be so hard. The thickness of the sushi and the rice that hardened overnight made these spicy tuna rolls incredibly difficult to get down in a hurry. When time ran out, Al realized that NO human being could possibly eat 60 tuna rolls in 7 minutes. As a result, he decided to let The All – American take a short break and then have an extra 4 minutes to finish all of what was left on his plate. The result was the closest eating stunt finish we have seen to date. Unfortunately for Maerz, he was only able to finish 55 out of the 60 rolls. As a result, his only shot at Wing Bowl 19 now is Wing – Off victory.
