Welcome To Wing Bowl 19!

385 morganti Welcome To Wing Bowl 19!

To mark the official start of the Wing Bowl season, please enjoy a special welcome message from the Founder of Wing Bowl, Al Morganti:

Believe it or not it’s Wing Bowl season again, and it’s even more difficult to believe this will be the nineteenth Wing Bowl. In other words, some of this year’s wingettes were not yet born when the idea off Wing Bowl took flight in 1993?.

Way back then, there wasn’t even an internet. But we’ve come a long way, and you can now follow every step of the Wing Bowl, right from the qualifying events, to the selection of the Wingettes, right up to the day of the contest on this website.

As usual, the event will take place the Friday before the Super Bowl, February 4th at the Wells Fargo Center. There will be plenty of attractions and prizes for Wing Bowl 19, which will also feature a return of the professional eaters.

Super Squibb will have to defend his crown against the likes of Joey Chestnut and the Black Widow – if they dare to step into the ring. Once again Steven Singer has stepped up to provide a huge cash prize of $20,000 to the winner, and there will be over $100,000 in total cash and prizes.

So stay tuned every step of the way to the Morning Show on 610 WIP every day, and right here online at Wingbowl19.com.

Al Morganti, Founder of Wingbowl
